US STOCKS SNAPSHOT-Wall St opens higher on easing bond yields; inflation data on tap

April 9 (Reuters) - Wall Street's main indexes opened

higher on Tuesday supported by retreating Treasury yields, while

investors awaited a key inflation print later in the week that

could help shape the Federal Reserve's stance on rate cuts this

year.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average rose 90.9 points, or

0.23%, at the open to 38983.66. The S&P 500 rose 14.6

points, or 0.28%, at the open to 5217.03​, while the Nasdaq

Composite rose 74.8 points, or 0.46%, to 16328.756 at

the opening bell.
