09:08 AM EDT, 06/24/2025 (MT Newswires) -- BlackSky Technology ( BKSY/WS ) said it won a contract worth more than $24 million from the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency to provide AI-based monitoring of global military and economic facilities over four years for its Luno A facility.

The company said the initial award is valued at $2 million and covers object and activity detection using satellite imagery and artificial intelligence. The work involves tracking patterns and changes at ports, airfields, railways and other key sites.

Shares of the company gained over 6% in recent premarket activity Tuesday.
