Extend Shipping Protection keeps orders safe from loss, theft, and damage, covering packages until they reach the customer, the company said.

The new Extend Product Protection will allow buyers to add extra warranty time beyond the standard coverage, with options that last one to three years, it added.

CarParts.com ( PRTS ) shares were down about 2.6% in recent trading.
