KKR, Skip Essential Infrastructure Fund to Acquire 74% Stake in Queensland Airports

06:33 AM EDT, 09/26/2024 (MT Newswires) -- KKR (KKR) and Skip Essential Infrastructure Fund said Thursday they signed an agreement to acquire a 74.25% stake in Queensland Airports from The Infrastructure Fund, managed by Macquarie Asset Management, State Super, and Australian Retirement Trust.

Queensland Airports includes Gold Coast, Townsville, Longreach, and Mount Isa airports, serving 39 domestic and six international routes with nearly 66,700 annual flights.

The deal is expected to close in late 2024, and financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
