Lucas GC Rising Tuesday After Pricing Upsized $6 Million IPO, Shares Rise

11:55 AM EST, 03/05/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Lucas GC (LGCL) was trading higher on Tuesday in its debut as a public company, climbing 9% after overnight pricing an upsized $6 million initial public offering of stock.

The Beijing-based human resources management company late Monday priced 1.5 million ordinary shares at $4 apiece, the bottom of its expected $4 to $6 range but adding an extra 250,000 shares above its original plan to sell 1.25 million shares and boosting gross proceeds for the deal by $1 million.

Lucas shares were up 9% to $4.37 in recent trading after opening mid-morning on Tuesday at $5.00 each on the Nasdaq Global Market.
