The iShares Biotechnology ETF (IBB) shed 0.3%.

In corporate news, 10x Genomics' ( TXG ) shares tumbled more than 24% in recent trading Thursday after the company overnight said preliminary results showed a revenue decline of about 1% year-on-year to roughly $151.7 million for Q3. Analysts polled by Capital IQ expect $162.3 million.
