07:58 AM EDT, 04/27/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Apollo Global Management ( APO ) has made a strategic minority investment in dental medical technology firm vVardis, the Swiss company said Monday.

"The investment establishes vVardis as one of Europe's few privately owned, billion-dollar-plus, healthcare companies," vVardis said.

The investment will support global expansion of the company's Curodont platform, a non-invasive early tooth decay treatment, as its scales commercialization across the US and Europe, vVardis said.

Founders and co-chief executives Haley Abivardi and Goly Abivardi will retain a substantial majority shareholding after the transaction, the company said.

Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
