Apple Expected to Present Range of Features Via Apple Intelligence at WWDC, Wedbush Says
Jun 9, 2025 8:30 AM

11:12 AM EDT, 06/09/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Apple ( AAPL ) is expected to present a range of different features through Apple Intelligence, including a revamped operating system, at its Worldwide Developers Conference later in the day, Wedbush said in a Monday note.

The tech giant is not expected to introduce any "groundbreaking" news, but the first roll out of Apple Intelligence is "just the beginning" of a "broader" AI roadmap, analysts led by Daniel Ives said.

Tim Cook and the company are also expected to name Alibaba Group ( BABA ) as its artificial intelligence partner in China before the fall and "ideally" ahead of the iPhone 17 launch, the analysts said.

"This Alibaba ( BABA ) partnership is key to the long-awaited growth catalyst in this region with our estimate that over 100 million of the roughly 200 million iPhones in China are in the window of an upgrade opportunity," the analysts said.

Wedbush maintained its outperform rating on Apple's ( AAPL ) stock with a $270 price target.

Price: 204.90, Change: +0.98, Percent Change: +0.48
