09:16 AM EDT, 10/17/2024 (MT Newswires) -- ASP Isotopes ( ASPI ) said Thursday it has produced enriched Ytterbium-176, a stable isotope used in producing an emerging beta emitting radiopharmaceutical used in oncology drugs.
The company said it was able to enrich Ytterbium-176 during the commissioning phase of its first quantum enrichment facility, which is expected to have an annual production capacity of about 1 kilogram of highly enriched Ytterbium-176.
ASP Isotopes ( ASPI ) said it expects to offer highly enriched Ytterbium-176 for commercial sale next year and to provide samples to interested customers in Q1.
Shares of ASP Isotopes ( ASPI ) rose 5.4% in recent premarket trading.
