07:58 AM EDT, 05/21/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Becton, Dickinson ( BDX ) said Thursday it has introduced the Elyra Thulium Fiber Laser System for kidney stone and soft tissue procedures in urology.

The company said the system improves stone dusting efficiency and reduces stone movement during procedures.

The platform is available in two versions, Elyra and Elyra Plus, offering different configurations based on operational needs, the company said.

Becton, Dickinson ( BDX ) said it completed initial clinical cases in the US, where users highlighted the system's intuitive interface and integrated safety features.
