BERLIN, July 31 (Reuters) - German carmaker BMW
welcomes the European Union's 15% tariff agreement
with the United States, CEO Oliver Zipse said on Thursday,
calling on both sides to swiftly implement the deal.
"The BMW Group welcomes the fundamental agreement between
the European Union and the United States to reduce tariffs on
both sides of the Atlantic. It's now important to quickly
finalise and implement the agreed measures," Zipse said,
according to a transcript of his speech following quarterly
results.
The company remains on track with its 2025 targets "despite
ongoing tariff uncertainty and fluctuations in the Chinese
market", he added.
