Cisco, Splunk Launch 'Unified Observability Experience' for Joint Customers

12:15 PM EDT, 06/05/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Cisco Systems ( CSCO ) on Wednesday unveiled the first of its technology integrations with Splunk following its $28 billion acquisition of the data analytics company.

The company unveiled a "unified observability experience" for joint customers, launching Splunk Log Observer Connect for Cisco AppDynamics and Cisco AppDynamics integration with Splunk IT Service Intelligence, or ITSI.

Cisco ( CSCO ) said new observability innovations include an artificial intelligence assistant for AppDynamics, expanded software-as-a-service hosting on Microsoft Azure, and advanced artificial intelligence in Splunk ITSI.

"Through Cisco ( CSCO ) and Splunk's new integrations and innovations, customers gain unified visibility across their entire digital footprint," the company said.

Shares of Cisco ( CSCO ) were down 2.7% in recent trading.
