10:27 AM EDT, 05/05/2025 (MT Newswires) -- CMS Energy's ( CMS ) Consumers Energy ( CMS ) announced Monday an expansion of its Zeeland natural gas plant is underway and expected to be completed in mid-June before the summer peak generation period.

The expansion project will boost the generation capacity of the plant via the installation of new technology to improve its performance and flexibility, the company said.
