10:23 AM EDT, 03/22/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Coherent (COHR) said Friday it has developed new high-power, uncooled pump laser modules for submarine applications, as well as single- and dual-chip terrestrial applications.

Qualification of the terrestrial modules will complete in the middle of this year, with volume production scheduled to begin in late 2024, the company said.
