06:39 AM EDT, 10/23/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Constellium (CSTM) reported Q3 earnings Wednesday of 0.02 euros ($0.022) per diluted share, down from 0.43 euros a year earlier.
Four analysts polled by Capital IQ expected 0.35 euros.
Revenue for the quarter ended Sept. 30 was 1.64 billion euros, down from 1.72 billion euros a year earlier.
Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected 1.77 billion euros.
The company said it expects 2024 adjusted EBITDA to be in the range of 580 million euros to 600 million euros, excluding the non-cash impact of metal price lag as well as an estimated one-time impact of 30 million euros to 40 million euros at Valais as a result of the flood, which impacted the company's "plate and extrusion shops in Sierre, as well as its casthouse in Chippis, leading to a suspension of operations." Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected 665.67 euros.
Shares of Constellium were down more than 3% in recent premarket trading.
