09:19 AM EDT, 04/07/2025 (MT Newswires) -- CoStar Group ( CSGP ) said Monday that it has appointed Louise Sams as board chair, effective immediately.

Sams has been on the company board since 2019. She most recently served as the executive vice president and general counsel of Turner Broadcasting System, the company said.

CoStar ( CSGP ) said its board has formed a capital allocation committee to support a comprehensive review of the company's capital structure, capital allocation and financial targets.

The committee will review the ongoing investment in Homes.com and plan an appropriate timeline for profitability, the company said.

Further, CoStar ( CSGP ) said it has entered into support agreements with investment management firm D. E. Shaw and hedge fund Third Point.
