Enerpac Tool Group Buys DTA for $26.6 Million to Support Automation in Heavy Lifting Technology
Sep 6, 2024 1:05 PM

10:17 AM EDT, 09/05/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Enerpac Tool Group ( EPAC ) said Thursday it has bought robotic transport products manufacturer DTA The Smart Move for 24 million euros ($26.6 million) with an additional earn-out potential tied to performance targets over the next three years.

The company said the purchase adds automated on-site horizontal movement products to its heavy lifting technology portfolio.

DTA is expected to contribute around 20 million euros in revenue for fiscal 2025, with no significant impact on adjusted earnings per share, excluding one-time costs, Enerpac said.

The company plans to pay for the acquisition through cash reserves and its credit facility, it added.
