Exxon held secret talks with Russia's Rosneft, WSJ reports

Aug 26 (Reuters) - A senior Exxon Mobil ( XOM )

executive discussed with Russia's Rosneft this year about

returning to the Sakhalin project if the U.S. and Russia gave

the green light as part of a Ukraine peace process, the Wall

Street Journal reported on Tuesday, citing people familiar with

the discussions.
