HOUSTON, March 30 (Reuters) - Golden Pass LNG, a joint

venture between QatarEnergy and Exxon Mobil ( XOM ), has produced

its first liquefied natural gas, the company said on Monday.

Golden Pass said production of first LNG sets the stage for

it to deliver its first cargo from its facilities located in

Sabine Pass, Texas.

The plant will be able to have sustained liquefaction

operations, and meet its commercial and strategic objectives,

the company said on Monday.
