08:31 AM EDT, 07/10/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Genius Group ( GNS ) said Thursday it repurchased 1 million shares on the open market at an average price of $1.30 per share.

The purchases are part of a buyback program authorized by shareholders on July 7 to repurchase up to 20% of the company's outstanding ordinary shares.

Genius Group ( GNS ) said it may execute further buybacks based on market conditions, share price and its enterprise and net asset valuations.

Shares of the company rose more than 12% in Thursday's premarket activity.
