05:53 AM EDT, 07/20/2026 (MT Newswires) -- Honda Motor's ( HMC ) Chinese investment unit said Monday it agreed with Guangzhou Automobile Group to extend their automotive production and sales partnership until 2038.

The manufacturing venture has achieved total cumulative sales exceeding 11 million vehicles since its inception, the company said.

Both partners plan to share resources and technologies to navigate tougher competition within the regional electric vehicle market, Honda ( HMC ) said.
