08:34 AM EST, 12/04/2024 (MT Newswires) -- International Money Express ( IMXI ) said Wednesday that it acquired certain assets and operations of Guatemala-based remittance company Amigo Paisano.

The company said the acquisition includes Amigo Paisano's US, European, and Latin American brands and trademarks.

International Money Express ( IMXI ) expects the transaction to add between $3.5 million and $5 million in incremental adjusted EBITDA in 2025.

Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
