Engineering and construction major Larsen & Toubro on Monday said its consolidated net profit for the March quarter rose 4.7% from a year earlier at Rs 3,167 crore.
The consolidated revenue stood at Rs 40,678 crore for the quarter under review, registering an increase of 11.1% on a year-on-year basis.
The company's earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortisation (EBITDA) grew by 23% year-on-year to Rs 5,390 crore.
Mumbai-based L&T won fresh orders worth Rs 1.5 lakh crore at group level in FY18, up 7% and order intake for Q4 is up 5% at Rs 49,557 crore year-on-year.
International order inflow for Q4 at Rs 8,678 crore, 18% of total order inflow.
L&T's consolidated order book at Rs 2.6 lakh crore as of March 31 and international order book constitutes 24% of total order book.
The company expect to continue planned trajectory of profitable and steady growth.
