05:41 AM EST, 11/11/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Chevron ( CVX ) has started the redeployment of personnel and the restoration of production at its Gulf Of Mexico platforms that were shut down due to Hurricane Rafael, Reuters reported Sunday, citing the company.

"We will continue to closely monitor the system," the report quoted Chevron ( CVX ) as saying.

The company did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
