05:30 AM EST, 12/12/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Stellantis ( STLA ) plans to extend the stoppage of car manufacturing at its Mirafiori plant in Italy by another two weeks until Jan. 20, Reuters reported Thursday, citing the head of the FIOM-Cgil trade union, Gianni Mannori.

The decision has not been made official by the company yet, Mannori told Reuters.

Stellantis ( STLA ) earlier said the assembly lines will be paused until Jan. 5 due to "continuing uncertainty in sales," according to the report.

Stellantis ( STLA ) did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.
