10:22 AM EST, 01/15/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Microsoft ( MSFT ) on Wednesday launched Microsoft ( MSFT ) 365 Copilot Chat that adds "pay-as-you-go agents" to the current free chat service for the commercial customers of Microsoft ( MSFT ) 365.

The Copilot Chat service includes agents, free AI chat, and IT controls, such as enterprise data protection and agent management, that can be used by its commercial customers' entire workforce, according to the statement.

Microsoft ( MSFT ) said its expects Copilot Chat to help customers accelerate their AI transformation.

Shares of Microsoft ( MSFT ) were up over 2% in recent trading.
