Mid Penn Bancorp Agrees to Acquire Cumberland Advisors

04:23 PM EDT, 09/25/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Mid Penn Bancorp ( MPB ) said Thursday it has agreed to acquire Sarasota, Florida-based registered investment advisory firm Cumberland Advisors.

The transaction is expected to close in Q4, subject to customary conditions, and will be immediately earnings-accretive upon completion, according to Mid Penn.

Cumberland's leadership and team will join Mid Penn following the deal's closure, the company added.
