Molson Coors Acquires Majority Stake in ZOA Energy Drink Brand

10:50 AM EST, 11/07/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Molson Coors Beverage ( TAP/A ) said Thursday it has acquired a majority ownership in the ZOA energy drink brand co-founded by entertainer and former professional wrestler Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson.

The companies initially began their partnership when the ZOA brand launched in 2021, and Molson Coors ( TAP/A ) said it previously increased its stake in the company last September in addition to gaining a presence on the ZOA board of directors.

Financial terms and other details of the expanded ownership stake were not disclosed.

Molson Coors ( TAP/A ) shares recently were up almost 2% in mid-morning trade on Thursday.
