08:52 AM EDT, 07/07/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Moog (MOG.A, MOG.B) said Monday it has acquired Ohio-based Cotsworks for $63 million.

Cotsworks designs and produces ruggedized fiber optic transceivers and assemblies for aerospace and defense programs, the company said, adding that Cotsworks' technologies integration will expand its current space and defense component portfolio.

The purchase price was paid through a combination of cash and the company's class A common shares, according to Moog.

Moog said it anticipates the acquisition will not have a material impact on its 2025 financial results.

Moog's class B shares were up 1.5% in recent Monday premarket activity.
