Nov 13, 2020 12:20 PM

Virgin Hyperloop made history on November 8 as it successfully carried out its first test with people at a facility in the US. This brings the Mumbai-Pune Hyperloop and the Bengaluru Airport Hyperloop a lot closer to reality.

To discuss the first successful trial, CNBC-TV18 spoke to Harj Dhaliwal, MD (Middle East and India) at Virgin Hyperloop and Tanay Manjrekar, Virgin Hyperloop's Power Electronics Specialist. He was part of the Hyperloop Pod test run.

Up next, watch Navin Surya, Founder of So Hum Bharat Digital talk about their plans of applying for the new umbrella entities for retail payments. Karan Mohla, Partner and Head-Consumer Tech at Chiratae Ventures also discusses startups selected in the seventh edition of their Innovators Program.
