Net profit for Colombia's Grupo Aval falls 73% in first quarter

May 14 (Reuters) - Colombian financial conglomerate

Grupo Aval posted on Tuesday a 73.2% slide in its first

quarter net profit to reach 113.7 billion pesos.

The company's interest income in the first three months of

this year edged up 3.3% to total 7.2 trillion pesos, according

to its quarterly report.
