04:24 AM EDT, 06/17/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Oracle (ORCL) announced Tuesday partnerships and product launches at the Oracle Defense Tech Summit.
The company said it has partnered with Nextcloud to make Nextcloud Hub, an open-source content collaboration platform.
The partnership will allow government and enterprise customers to deploy Nextcloud Hub across Oracle Cloud Infrastructure's sovereign cloud offerings, including air-gapped, public, government and dedicated regions.
The company also teamed up with defense tech firm Metron to develop scalable decision-support services for military operations, helping defense customers move faster through AI and cloud-based tools.
Meanwhile, Oracle also announced the launch of Oracle Compute Cloud@Customer Isolated, a secured, sovereign compute cloud service that can be deployed on-premises and disconnected from the internet.
The offering is designed for defense, intelligence, telecom, and healthcare sectors, supporting critical workloads and data sovereignty with full control over infrastructure.
Oracle also introduced the Oracle Defense Ecosystem, a global initiative to accelerate innovation in defense technology. Initial members include Arqit, Blackshark.ai, Entanglement, Fenix Group, and Koniku, among others.
