07:23 AM EDT, 07/11/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Orezone Gold ( ORZCF ) on Friday filed a prospectus with the Australian Securities and Investments Commission for an initial public offering that will raise A$75 million.
The company is offering 65.8 million CHESS Depository Interests (CDIs) over fully paid common shares in the capital at A$1.14 per CDI, with each CDI representing a beneficial interest in one share.
"We look forward to the ASX listing which will raise the Company's profile by broadening its shareholder base and increase trading liquidity for all shareholders," said Orezone Gold ( ORZCF ) Chief Executive Patrick Downey.
Proceeds will be used for the ongoing advancement of stage 2 of the hard rock expansion, for ongoing exploration at the Bombore Mine, for administration and working capital needs.
Upon satisfying ASX's listing requirements, trading on the ASX is expected to start on a normal settlement basis on or about August 8, under the ASX code "ORE".
Shares of the company closed unchanged at $1.10 on Thursday on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
