Performance Food Group Says Sachem Head to Nominate 4 Director Candidates

09:24 AM EDT, 09/02/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Performance Food Group ( PFGC ) said Tuesday that it received a notice from investment management firm Sachem Head to nominate four director candidates at the company's 2025 annual stockholders meeting.

Performance Food ( PFGC ) said its board has asked to interview Sachem Head's nominees to evaluate them and provide recommendations to stockholders.

Sachem Head's nominees include Scott Ferguson, David Toy, R. Chris Kreidler, and Karen King, according to a statement.

On Sachem Head's suggestion to explore a merger with US Foods ( USFD ) , Performance Food ( PFGC ) said US Foods ( USFD ) has not sent any proposal to date.

Performance Food ( PFGC ) added that it has not yet set a schedule for its annual meeting.
