11:05 AM EDT, 04/30/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Perimeter Medical Imaging AI ( PYNKF ) on Wednesday said that HonorHealth has become the first in Arizona to deploy its S-Series OCT (Optical Coherence Tomography) technology to visualize tissue margins in the operating room.

HonorHealth is a healthcare system that serves more than five million people in the greater Phoenix and Scottsdale areas.

The company said its S-Series OCT technology uses light to create cross-sectional 3D images of tissue microstructures at 10 times the resolution of ultrasound and X-ray and 100 times the resolution of MRI.

"HonorHealth's adoption of the S-Series OCT continues our nationwide commercial expansion and increases patient access to the technology in one of the most populous metropolitan areas in the Southwest," said Perimeter's Chief Executive Officer Adrian Mendes.
