POET Technologies, Quantum Computing Form Partnership to Develop Optical Engines

07:43 AM EST, 11/11/2025 (MT Newswires) -- POET Technologies ( POET ) said Tuesday it is forming a partnership with Quantum Computing ( QUBT ) to develop 400G/Lane thin-film lithium niobate modulator-based 3.2Tbps engines for computing.

Under the agreement, POET said it will fund the development of the 400G/Lane modulator, which it is aiming to complete in H1 2026. It also said Quantum Computing ( QUBT ) will integrate the 400G/Lane modulators with the POET's Optical Interposer platform technology.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

Shares of POET Technologies ( POET ) were up 3.8% pre-bell, while Quantum Computing's ( QUBT ) stock is off 0.6%.
