Analysts polled by FactSet expected $2.71.

Net sales for the quarter ended March 29 were $437.7 million, up from $413.7 million a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $439.5 million.

The company said it expects fiscal Q1 net sales of about $424 million to $434 million. Three analysts surveyed by FactSet expect $430.3 million.

Shares of the company were up about 2% in premarket activity Friday.
