08:32 AM EDT, 08/20/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Rigetti Computing ( RGTI ) said Wednesday that it has signed a memorandum of understanding with Montana State University for quantum computing research and development.

The company said it will collaborate with the university on various projects, including quantum hardware and hybrid quantum systems, workforce development activities, and co-development and testing of enabling technologies and quantum system components.

Rigetti said researchers will have access to its 9-qubit Novera quantum processing unit at the university's QCORE research and innovation center.
