01:34 PM EDT, 07/17/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Rivian Automotive ( RIVN ) plans to open a new regional headquarters in Atlanta in late 2025 as construction accelerates at a new manufacturing site outside the city.

About 100 employees will be based at the new office initially, with staffing expected to grow to 500 following expansion in 2026, the Irvine, California-based company said Thursday in a statement.

Shares of the company rose 5.4% in recent Thursday trading.
