04:03 PM EST, 03/06/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Twin Disc ( TWIN ) agreed to acquire Katsa of Finland for 21 million euros ($23 million) in cash to expand in Europe.

Katsa, founded in 1955, makes high-quality power transmission components and gearboxes, Twin Disc ( TWIN ) said Wednesday in a statement.

The deal is expected to close in H1.

Shares of Twin Disc ( TWIN ) rose 0.6% in Wednesday trading.
