Tyson Foods Swings to Fiscal Q2 Profit, Sales Fall; Fiscal 2024 Revenue Outlook Reaffirmed

08:01 AM EDT, 05/06/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Tyson Foods ( TSN ) reported fiscal Q2 adjusted earnings Monday of $0.62 per share, swinging from a loss of $0.04 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by Capital IQ expected $0.40.

Sales for the quarter ended March 30 were $13.07 billion, down from $13.13 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by Capital IQ expected $13.16 billion.

For fiscal 2024, the company continues to expect sales to be "relatively flat" compared to fiscal 2023.

Shares of the company were up 2.6% in recent Monday premarket activity.
