Federal Signal ( FSS ) shares were up more than 21% in recent trading Wednesday after its Q2 adjusted earnings and net sales surpassed analysts' consensus estimates.
The company reported Q2 adjusted earnings of $1.17 per share, up from $0.95 a year earlier.
Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $1.06 per share.
Net sales for the quarter ended June 30 were $564.6 million, up from $490.4 million a year earlier.
Analysts polled by FactSet expected $537.3 million.
For fiscal 2025, the company now projects net sales of between $2.07 billion and $2.13 billion, up from a prior range of $2.02 billion to $2.10 billion. Analysts polled by FactSet expect $2.05 billion.
Federal Signal ( FSS ) also raised its fiscal 2025 adjusted EPS guidance to between $3.92 and $4.10, from $3.63 to $3.90. Analysts surveyed by FactSet expect $3.83 per share.
