Silvercorp Metals ( SVM ) late on Wednesday reported assay results from the LMW underground mine in Henan Province, China.
Highlights of the results include 34 grams per tonne (g/t) gold and 4.45% copper over 0.82 meters and 5.28 g/t gold and 20.28% copper over 0.59 meters.
Drilling at the W zone significantly expanded the low-angle and high-grade silver-gold-copper LM28 vein. Drilling also intersected high-grade silver-lead veins W1, W18 series and W6 series.
The drilling program also focused on expansion drilling of low-angle gold and silver-gold-copper veins LM50, LM26, and LM21, drilling to extend the high-grade LM41E series veins at the eastern side of LMW, and infill drilling of silver-lead-zinc veins at the Production Zone.
Silvercorp shares were last seen up $0.15 to $4.32 on the Toronto Stock Exchange.
