10:23 AM EDT, 05/05/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Valaris ( VAL ) said Monday that it has been awarded a five-well contract offshore West Africa for drillship VALARIS DS-15, with an estimated value of about $135 million, including upfront payments for rig upgrades and mobilization.

The company said the contract is expected to start in Q3 of 2026, with an estimated duration of 250 days. The contract also includes priced options for up to five wells for an estimated total duration of 80 to 100 days, Valaris ( VAL ) said.
