Veon Secures Commercial License for DIFC Branch

07:29 AM EST, 11/15/2024 (MT Newswires) -- VEON Ltd. ( VEON ) said Friday it has completed the registration and received a commercial license for its branch office in the Dubai International Financial Centre, or DIFC.

The company said the move aligns with its plan to relocate its headquarters from Amsterdam to the DIFC.

Veon ( VEON ) will "explore the potential that this transition will bring, both in terms of the proximity to our markets and visibility to Gulf investors," Veon ( VEON ) Chief Executive Kaan Terzioglu said in a statement.
