05:15 PM EDT, 10/17/2024 (MT Newswires) -- Vizsla Silver ( VZLA ) edged down in after-hours Nasdaq traded after the company on Thursday said it completed its acquisition of the past-producing La Garra-Metates district situated in the heart of the silver-gold-rich Panuco-San Dimas corridor.
The acquisition was completed pursuant to a share purchase agreement dated March 27.
The company will pay US$3.07 million in cash and issue an aggregate of 5.55-million with a deemed price of US$1.26 per share.
The company also paid an aggregate of US$1.6 million in back taxes owing on the concessions comprising the La Garra-Metates District.
Vizsla shares were last seen down US$0.01 to US$2.07 after hours. They closed up $0.07 to $2.86 on the TSX Venture Exchange.
