06:11 AM EDT, 09/22/2025 (MT Newswires) -- WeRide ( WRD ) said Monday it will launch its GXRs and Robobus vehicles in Singapore as part of Grab's Autonomously Intelligent Ride, or Ai.R, service.

Financial terms were not disclosed.

Under the terms, Ai.R will operate along two specified routes in Punggol, Singapore, the autonomous ride-hailing company said.

WeRide ( WRD ) said that its five-seater GXR and eight-seater Robobus have already passed the country's milestone 1 assessment.

The Ai.R vehicles will start a route formalization phase in Punggol this week under its initial phase, which each vehicle including a trained safety operator onboard, while the roll out is expected in early 2026, WeRide ( WRD ) said.

WeRide's ( WRD ) shares were up 1.8% in recent Monday premarket activity.
