ACC-Ambuja announce agreement for supply of cement, clinker & raw materials
Mar 13, 2018 1:13 AM

After putting their merger on hold, ACC and Ambuja Cements have now announced a plan to enter into a master supply agreement for supply of cement, clinker and raw materials.

Sanjay Ladiwala, Cement Expert said that the prices had corrected a bit in the last couple of months. "February, the prices were a bit higher and we are seeing the prices coming off by anywhere between 7 percent and 12 percent, depending on the region".

Ladiawala said that a price cut in March was bit of a surprise considering that the demand usually rises in the month after budget allocation. However , he added that the price cut was not supposed to last for too long.
