Acquisitions done in February will add Rs 200 crore to revenue in FY19, says Jain Irrigation

The acquisitions done Jain Irrigation in February will come in to the current year in terms of overall value and it will add another Rs 150-200 crore to food business, said Anil Jain, MD of the company.

Jain Irrigation Systems reported a 29.28% jump in its standalone net profit to Rs 159.44 crore in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2017-18, mainly on the back of higher sales. Its net profit stood at Rs 123.32 crore in the same quarter previous fiscal.

The piping business grew more than 40% and micro irrigation grew more than 20% in Q4, Jain said

"Agro processing business should grow more than 30% in FY19," he said.

The company is not just focused on revenue or profit this quarter, jain said adding that it is also focused on cash flow and the company has generated almost Rs 500 crore free cash flow in this current quarter and more than Rs 200 crore for whole year.
