CST foot over bridge collapse: BMC blames auditor for collapse
Mar 16, 2019 5:46 AM

The blame game over the foot overbridge collapse near Mumbai’s CST station is on. The BMC released a preliminary report on Friday evening pointing fingers at the auditor.

The BMC claims that the foot over bridge was more than 35 years old and blamed that the auditor had wrongly shown the year of construction. The report has also recommended action against five BMC officials including 2 retired civic engineers. 2 current officials have also been suspended.

Retail sales fell 0.9% last month after a downwardly revised 0.1% dip in April, the Commerce Department's Census Bureau said on...
